More explanation on how to install?

A quick learner from San Diego, CA says:

I can't picture how to install this. Example: Closet opening is 57" wide. Each door is 30". If I place this in the middle location (approx 28.5") both screw holes will be covered by either door. Or am I not understanding this properly? Thanks.

Hi there!

One of our senior experts explained how to install this guide in a previous customer's discussion and said the following:

To install this type of floor guide, you would first slide the doors to one side and place the guide under the doors in the middle of the door opening. Now you should be able to screw down one side, then slide both doors to the other side and screw down that side.
