A quick learner from MN says:
I have multiple latches that have failed with windows in the closed position so i cannot access the latch assembly to dismount and replace. Any advice on how to resolve?

Thanks for your patience during this busy season. The problem you describe is always a tough issue whenever I come across it. My first and only piece of advice would be to try your best to get the levers to flip to unlock the windows. For example, if the handles have fallen out, try pushing the handles back in as best as you can to turn the lock. Even if it's awkward or not how the lock is supposed to function. If you can manage to get those things open, then it will save you a lot of trouble.

If you really aren't able to unlock the windows by any method, then your only option left is to literally cut the locks off of the window. This is not an easy project at all and I highly recommend contacting a local professional to come out and do it for you.
