Need New Channel Balances

A handy person from greensboro, nc says:

Windows won't stay on track, we removed the balance and there is a stamp that says 8 24 C - the metal channel appears to be 25 inches from end to end of the metal, and the shoe thing at the bottom is about 0.75 to 0.8 inches from what I can tell. I have two windows of the same size with the same problem and need to buy the replacement parts for them.

Is the metal channel 1/2" wide, or 3/8"? If it's 3/8", I believe you might need our S800-25, with a stamp option of 24C. Take a look and see what you think.
