Need a little help with Window Repair Spiral Balance

Quick Learner from USA
I have (2) windows to repair. Both need a total of (4) new 18" x 3/8" Spiral Balance. I found (3) of the Spirals fully extended and sitting at the bottom of the sash as expected. However, the forth came out with the clip ( see pics below ) . I can't get these windows out, should the clip be screwed into the window or does the clip just lock into the window? if it needs to be screwed in ( which I cant do), Is there then a retrofit solution to help me with this one side. I'm really handy and a problem solver so I am open to ideas.

I also need a non-tilt tool. Please make me a list of parts numbers and I will place an order. Thank u for your help, support and insight.

It is unfortunate that this clip came out. I think that's going to make your project way, way more complicated than it would have been otherwise.

Basically, your windows were designed in such a way that the sash panel was not meant to be removed in any way. I think the logic of the manufacturer was that if anything broke, you'd buy a new window (from them, of course) instead of trying to repair it. This is relevant because you can't put that clip back on without taking the sash out; since the sash isn't designed to be taken out, it will necessitate taking the whole window frame apart just to get this clip back on.

That's going to be a big job, obviously. I know you said you're handy but you still may want an extra pair of hands on this with you. Even I wouldn't tackle that without some help.

As for the parts themselves, see our 17-052 clip, 75-005 charging tool, and then either our Series 400 or Series 500 spiral balance (depending on what diameter you need).
