Need a new channel balance

Home Owner from White Rock, New Mexico

Hello SWISCO experts:

Can you help me identify this channel balance whose string has broken. I'll probably order two, I have two windows of this variety.

Non-tilt single sash vinyl window

Window brand is "Insulate". Bought the house 20 years ago and they were already installed. 25 years old?

Window frame take out clips are plastic!

Channel Balance Label: 25 4 CS Caldwell. No other labels or numbers.

Length (metal only): 26 inches

Channel width: 9/16th inches.

Channel edge is hemmed.

I'm thinking its an S-380 or S-385, but am not sure.

Top fitting is flanged. Maybe a 60-508 (Amsco part number).

Bottom fitting is flanged. Maybe is maybe a 61-507 (Amsco part number).

Thanks!

Hello! It's definitely between the Series 380 and Series 385, but I can't quite make out the depth of your shoe from that first photo. It looks like it might be over 1". Can you confirm? If it is, then you can use our S385-26 as a replacement.

Tom, thanks! Here's another photo of the shoe. It appears to be over 1" in depth. Would you agree? If so, it's S385-26. Bill

I do agree, yes. The depth of your shoe is definitely over 1" so I think our Series 385 is your best bet.

Tom: Excellent, really appreciate your assistance. Now for the weight--with "25 4 CS Caldwell" as the label, do I order the 2540 option? Thanks, Bill

Yes, that is correct. Your old stamp of 25 4 is a match for our 2540.
