Need replacement for Farley casement operator

A quick learner from North Hero, Vermont says:

Can you identify the casement operator part from these photos? Part is stamped wit "31858" and "Truth."

Also need 2 plastic guides for the metal locking rod for this casement window.

Thanks.

Dennis

Hello, Dennis! We can definitely help with this hardware. The plastic guide you refer to is known as a tie bar guide; your exact type isn't made anymore, but our 39-448 can be used as a substitute.

I'm not sure about the operator. Would it be possible to see it removed from the window? I'd like one top-down photo of the whole mechanism. That will allow us to match it up with one in our inventory. Thank you!

Hi Tom,

Thanks for your reply.

I would definitely like two of the 39-448 tie bar guides, and can get the top down photo of the operator, but not before this coming weekend.

I'll get back to you with the photo on Sunday (9/29) or the following day.

Thanks again.

Hi Tom,

I've removed the operator and am posting top and bottom views below.

And I look forward to your reply.

Many thanks,

Dennis

Hey, Dennis! Good to hear from you again. This looks a lot like our 39-253R. Look it over and let me know if you agree.

You can probably reuse your old handle, track, and slider, but just in case you wanted to replace everything see our 39-205, 39-528, and 39-529, respectively.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for your assessment.

I do want to replace everything, so would like one each of the parts you identified on October 2nd.

I would also like two tie bar guides (39-448).

So I will go to the "shop" element at the top of this page and see if I can place the order.

Thanks again,

Dennis
