New lock mechanism from you doesn't hold onto the catch to good.

Hi I just ordered the locking mechanism inside the sliding door, it fits and works good but now it seems the new one won't grab onto the catch plate in the door jamb because if you pull on it with a little force it opens right up. Do you sell a catch plate that fits the lock I bought? I have signed the catch plate the best of my knowledge but it seems as though it still is slightly to small for the lock to get a good grip on it.

Thanks for posting! We do sell a keeper to match your lock, but it appears to be identical to what you have now. I don't think that would change anything.

Before you buy anything new, I recommend adjusting the mortise. There is a flathead screw above the top hook and below the bottom hook that, when turned, extend and retract the hooks. That may be all you need to do, especially if the mortise is brand new.
