Not sure about color for my 23" spiral balance

A quick learner from San Diego says:

I have measured my balances to 23 inches but there is not much color to see, maybe a shred of red plastic and I asm wondering that since the window is dual pane and feels very heavy ordered blue would be better? Alos there is not indication as to how the bottom of the spiral should be attache to the spiral?

Is this spiral balance for a tilt window? If so, the tip should connect to a pivot shoe. You'll need the diameter of the outer tube to determine if it's a Series 600 and Series 900. In lieu of any color tip, measure the exact weight of the window sash. You can then match that exact weight with one of the weight ranges listed alongside each color tip option on the balance's shop page.
