Old Jalousie Operator

A home owner from Stuart, FL says:
We have a small 1958 block house with Miami Window Company jalousie windows. Windows are in good condition, metal around them look rough. I took the operators off to find a hole in the block beside the operator. Is there an operator that has wing crank instead of the arm crank? Is there any way to clean these? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Alice

Hello,

We've seen this Miami box operator in the past and we do not believe that an exact replacement is still available. Our best recommendation would be the 39-054 mentioned in another customer's thread here with a similar assembly to the one in your photos.

Take a look and see if you think that this might work for your repair but keep in mind that, unfortunately, the left-handed version of this operator was discontinued and is no longer available. The handle for this operator is also not sold separately. We apologize for the inconvenience.
