No markings on either the window balance or the window. Top end of balance has one screw which attaches to top of window frame side. Bottom of balance slips onto pin of window. The plastic clip on the bottom of this balance is broken, preventing it to attach to the window. Lower spring still OK. Upper String pulley system still OK. Total length = 28".

Hello! This old rod-type balance is unfortunately no longer made. The good news is that our modern Series 795 should work fine for you, but only if the diameter of the spring is 1/2".
Your next step should be to measure that spring diameter to verify its size. Then, if it's 1/2", I recommend watching the video below. This will detail everything you need to do to get our Series 795 working in your window step by step.
If your spring is 3/8" in diameter, though, then the Series 795 will not work. You would need something specially made. We can cross that bridge if we get there, though. Just let me know and I can advise accordingly!
