Operator material for salt air

A home owner from Boca Raton says:
Before I venture into complete operator assy replacement....my situation: 1) Oceanside house...a corrosive salt air environment. 2) Have vinyl casement windows, however, 3) the window operators/linkages are made of carbon steel...bad idea for my salt-air environment. 4) All of my operator linkages are corroded partially or completely; -5yrs old. Are linkages fabricated in other materials such as vinyl, ss, brass/copper or aluminum? If only in carbon steel we need go no further.

Paul from SWISCO responded:
It would depend on exactly what it is you have now. We carry some stainless steel casement window parts, as well as casement window parts that are powder coated to resist corrosion. Could you remove the hardware in question from the window and show us a picture? That will help us get started.
