Panaview Slider door latch

A home owner from Malvern, PA says:

I have an older slider with a door latch and 'catcher' that is broken. There is no pocket cut into the door edge on the other side of this, so I think I need a whole new locking 'system'. I don't know what part(s) I should purchase to replace this. Can you help?

We don't have an exact match for this handle set, but you may be able to use the 82-016 as a replacement. This has a hole spacing of 3-1/2". Take a look and see what you think.
