Part identifier inquiry

Aloha, We have some old windows that have a handle that slips on and then we have to awkwardly crank the window open. (handle like this: https://www.swisco.com/Wood-Casement-Window-Operator-Brass-finish/pd/Casement-Window-Replacement-Operators/39-268) we would like to retrofit it with some handles that make it easier to open and close, like this: (https://www.swisco.com/Long-Crank-Handle/pd/Replacement-Window-Operator-Accessories/39-114L) or this: (https://www.swisco.com/Wood-Window-Crank-9-inch/pd/Casement-Window-Replacement-Operators/39-021) can you help us? Thanks Liz

Thanks for reaching out to us, Liz. My idea would be to use our 39-027E and 39-028E operators, along with the 39-505 track and 39-205 fold down handle. These are fairly adaptable and I think you can use these on your windows, but it will take some modification. For instance, you would need to add a sill on the inside of the window to support the base.

You could also use something like the 39-344 and 39-358, along with the 39-520 track. Lastly we also carry the 39-077 window adjuster, which might be easier to use; all you need to do is turn the knob and push the sash open, then tighten to hold it in place.

Look these parts over and see what you think. I personally like the Truth brand parts, but no matter what you do I don't think you'll be able to get away without some handiwork.
