Parts for Tilt Lock Window

A quick learner from Mount Laurel says:
I recently had my house inspected and the inspector indicated that the tilt lock mechanism was missing from a wondow and that the window was "out of the ballast." He recommended that I buy replacement parts and repair. Can you assist me in locating the correct parts?

Hi, Jeff. Could you provide us with some measurements of the hole that the latch needs to fit into? As well, do you have the latch from the opposite side of the window? If the other side of the window, or another identical window in the house, has an intact latch, can you remove the latch and show it to us? It's easier to match a latch to a latch than to match a latch to a slot.
A quick learner says:
measured the latch on the other side of the window it is 2 5/8 inches long. I was unable to remove it from the window.

Thank you for the extra helpful information. I believe the closest match we have for you would be our 26-243 and 26-244 tilt window latches. Take a look at both of these parts and let us know what you think. I have also included a video below I think would be beneficial to you in the removal, measuring, and installing top tilt latches.
