I am trying to find out what the attached picture part is. This piece is connected to the string on the balancer.

Thanks for posting! It does appear that you may have our T-Lock 15-216 pivot shoe, however, I am not able to confirm with certainty. I'll need to see a photo of the part removed from the window to confirm that this is the replacement you'll need.

Also, you'll need to have the shoe removed to compare the dimensions. This will help to determine if this part will be the right fit for your window.
