Patio Sliding Door Latch (Obsolete?)

A quick learner from Omaha, Nebraska says:

The lobes on my patio door are broken off. The patio door was installed when the house was built in 1986. I have no documentation or identification on the door. The door latch must be a low profile with 3 1/2 inch centers on the mount screws. The door latch hook locks into a slot cut into the wall-mounted portion of the door frame. I will purchase any door latch that compatible with these criteria. The latch is plastic(?) with a metal locking mechanism insert.

(sorry about the quality of the drawing/schematic)

respectfully,

Gary

Hi there!

Our 82-005 is our best match but it's made to use a keeper, so there may be issues with that hole in the frame of your door. Look it over and see what you think.
