Patio door roller sits wrong

We just received the 81-253 roller from Swisco. But it doesn't sit in the channel exactly like our old one. Will this work?

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with the 81-253. I'm afraid that I couldn't find a version of this roller that doesn't have those hooked tabs, though. Would it be possible to straighten them out, perhaps with a pair of pliers? I'm sorry that we can't offer a better match at this time.
