Piece that connects handle to operator is broken

Appears to be Truth Hardware as the operator cover says Truth on the inside. Handle says Loewen which, I believe, is the window manufacturer

Looks like the worm gear came out of your operator. That means you need a new operator, unfortunately. Once these pieces strip out, they can't be repaired or replaced.

We can help, but we need to see a photo of the operator out of the window in order to identify a good match. It's important that we can see the whole mechanism without obstruction.

Is it possible to just get the worm gear? It has broken at the top. I don't notice that the operator is stripped (I didn't send a picture of that but could if it helps). I would like to try that first if possible as replacing the operator would require hiring someone to take a part of the window apart. Thank you.

That's not possible, no. Like I mentioned in my prior post, these worm gears cannot be repaired or replaced. They're machine pressed at the factory. Your only option is a new operator.
