Pivot pin

A home owner from Single hung vinyl window says:

Looking for pivot pin for a single hung window. It 3" long and no markings on it.

Your pivot bar is an older style that is unfortunately not made anymore. I would say that our best option is the 26-396, but you can see that the tip is a slightly different style. If it won't work as is then you'd have to shave down or snip off those nubs you see. Would that be acceptable?
