This aids in the window sliding open.
Some are well worn and window is riding metal to metal and is hard to open.

I'm afraid I'm not immediately familiar with this guide. Would it be possible to see what it looks like while installed? That will give me a better idea of where it goes, how it works, and whether anything we sell can be used as a replacement.
