Question about 27" channel balance - 2610

A handy person from VA says:

The guides on our existing 27" channel balance are broken. Does the exact shape of the guide impact the installation of the new channel? It is hard to compare our existing channel balance guides to the new one and I'm concerned about a proper fit.

Thank you,

Chris

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Hey Chris. Yes, getting a replacement balance with the exact nylon fittings as your original is crucial, and I'd check identical windows in the house to see if you can find one with that top fitting intact. However, its shape in the pictures you show does lead me to believe you very likely need our S370-27, with a stamp option of 2610. Do compare and see if you agree before proceeding.
