Removal of retrofit certainteed window ?

A quick learner from Washington state says:
The wood sill below my certainteed (retrofit/old work) window is rotted. There are two screws down inside the window track on the left and two on the right side. I suspect we can cut the caulk around the window inside and out, then remove the 4 screws (not the screws on the springs) in order to remove the Window? I doubt they removed the inside stop to install as the stop looks unique, intact, origional, and could easily be broken.

A contractor friend and I have the window loose yet not yet out. Not sure if there is an easier way.

Hello! I believe what you describe by removing the window to the outside sounds correct. Most wood windows are installed from the outside in.
