Replace sliding glass door lock assembly

Question

I don't have the key to this assembly therefore need to replace it.

The exterior length is 7 1/8" x 1 1/8". It has two indentations to slide the door open.

The interior length is 5 1/2" x 1 1/8"

I have run into this handle set a few times in the past. The bad news is that we don't sell anything that can replace it.

The issue here is the exterior handle. Your original plugged into that huge rectangular hole in the frame. That hole pretty much prevents any other handle type we sell from working. Nothing we have can cover it.

My recommendation is to contact a local hardware store that sells older hardware. They may still have these in stock or, at the very least, are familiar with homes in your area and can point you in the right direction.
