Replacement Door Handle Unit

A quick learner from Collingdale, PA. says:
Dear Sir:

I am seeking a replacement storm door handle w/lockset. At this time I am considering a 40-142. The center distance between the Push Button Center to the center of the Keyhole equals 5.50 in. Mounting screws are at 1.75 in. for both dead bolt and latch housing. The Dead Bolt offset is .50 in. and has square corners. Mounting screws are 1.625 in. long and door thickness is 1.125. Will the 40-142 meet this criteria?? Thank you for your efforts!

Thanks for posting! Yes, looking at the 40-142, the center hole of the top button to the bottom key lock is 5.5". The mounting screws for the dead bolt are 1.25" long, because the dead bolt portion has screw bosses the protrude into the door making up the difference on the screw. The upper portion screws are 1.75" long. Finally, the dead bolt sticks out 1/2" when it is in the locking position. The dead bolt has rounded corners, though, not square. This lock set also comes with long locking spindles that can be cut to accommodate the thickness of the door.
