Hi, I need replacement coils, shoe, and bar for my Simonton window. I attached the sticker on the window. There are two coils inside the housing and the coils are stamped top row 35 3.5 35 and bottom 232208 as best as I can make out. There also seemed to be a third coil on top of the shoe but below the housing but it was broken long ago. Can you suggest replacement parts?
The stamp on the shoe is PAT NO 5,704,165

Hello there!
Sure, we can definitely help with this. The 15-199 pivot shoe and 1/2" Series 160 and 3/8" Series 165 coil springs are my recommendations. You'll have to measure the width of the coil spring band to see which one is best for your repair. If it's 1/2", see the 15-150T triple support. If it's 3/8", see the 15-205 instead.

Thank you! One more question the original window had 2 coils inside the housing and one attached to the bottom of the housing and the top of the shoe. Is that functionally the same as the triple support you recommended, just that the 3rd coil is inside the housing instead of outside in the new model?

What you're describing sounds a bit odd but it may be that whoever installed your window used whatever parts they had on hand to get the job done. It could also be that the spring snapped which makes it appear to be a triple coil when it may be just a double setup but I'm afraid I can't tell from these photos. We recommend checking an identical window in the house just to be safe.
