Question

The closest balancer I could find on your website would be Product Code: S385-21 with the 2020 option. The only difference I see is the plastic ears on the top and bottom don't exactly match what I have, but I don't know if that matters. The number 2020 is stamped on the balance and the bottom plastic fitting is a little over 1" in depth. The metal part of the balance is .5" wide. What do you think?

Thanks for reaching out to us. Our Series 385 will unfortunately not replace this balance. What you have here is known as an "extended travel" channel balance, named for its unique block and tackle configuration. We can still supply these, but it will have to be a custom order.

Before we go any further, I need a couple pieces of information for you. Firstly, can you tell me the length of the metal channel? Based on your 2020 stamp, it should be 20-7/8", but we like to be 100% sure.

Next, can you tell me how many you needed?

Once I have that data we can get the ball rolling on this.
