I need a replacement coil balance for the window above. There is no visible channel cutout on the side of the window frame to remove the old balance and replace. Do you have a template, and position information as to where to make the cuts?

Hello, Ron. There is no template for making the cuts, it's something you just have to eyeball in most cases. If you're working with the bottom sash then the cutout has to be pretty high in the track and it has to be large enough to take the balance out, but not so large that anything could fall out on accident. The video below will clarify our process.
