Replacment Balance Coil for our Plasmo Windows

A handy person from Armstrong BC Canada says:

We are looking for 20 replacement coils for the windows installed in our condo complex 25 years ago. The coil is actually 40 inches in length, 1/2 inch wide. and the imprint on the coil reads #4.5 30" 120893 as shown in one photo. Two coils are stacked on top of each other on each side of the window for a total of 4 coils per window.

Can you help us out?

Thanks for posting. I am confident we can replace these coil balances, but I need more information to identify them. Can you remove one of the whole assemblies from a window, including the pivot shoe the coil balances attach to? The identity of the pivot shoe determines the exact identity of the coil balances. From there, I should be able to narrow this down for you. Many thanks.

I have been in contact with Timothy at Swisco and we have determined what we need. Our order of one set of coils and the pivot shoes was shipped today. If it works, we will get more of the units for our future uses.
