Require help with outside window damage

A home owner from Southold, NY says:
Please refer to the attached photo. Is there a way for us to repair the outside casing?

This looks like a piece of insulated glass installed in a wood opening. Since it's wood, I would use some type of wood trim to hold it in place. I recommend contacting a local contractor or carpenter, they should be able to help.

I'd like to offer an alternative solution. I believe your aluminum casing is delaminating from your window frame. I would suggest using an adhesive like Liquid Nails to reset it. You could also try using some aluminum capping nails. Go to a local hardware store to see what they suggest, as well.
