Right and left versions

Hi,

This is the exact handle I have been searching for. It has been a years long search. It fits 1957 aluminum windows.

Is the pivot a through metal pivot, not a screw? The cheap replacements have a screw pivot that either breaks or backs out with use.
Does it come in right and left versions?

My originals are either breaking at the pivot or the mounting plate due to metal fatigue, not unxepected whenever 50 years old.

Thanks for posting. Our 38-083 handle is held to the base with a rivet, not a screw. This is considered a left handed lock but I'm afraid the right has been discontinued and is no longer available. It's hard to get this kind of lock these days. Sorry we can't offer a better replacement!

I am interested in whether a right handed lock in the style of Swisco 38-083 (three hole cam handle) is available. I saw a post on your website from 2019 by Tom from Swisco regarding the availability of a right handed lock in the style of Swisco 38-083, and I would like to know if a right handed lock is now available. Thanks.

Unfortunately, the situation remains the same as it did in 2019. The opposite handed version to the 38-083 is discontinued and, to my knowledge, there is no alternative.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience.
