Roller with Extension

Quick Learner from Boise
Hello, I can't seem to find rollers with this kind of extension. I tried to unscrew the extension entirely and couldn't get the screw out. Any suggestions? How do I replace these rollers? Much appreciated!

Thanks for posting. This roller looks like our 81-156, and this is indeed what we've recommended in the past to replace the exact one you have. Look over the dimensions below to confirm it matches your old part. Now, that extension is the adjustment screw and is not meant to be removed; it adjusts how 'high' or 'low' the roller assembly (and thus, the door itself), raises off the track. Provided the dimensions of your old roller are identical to what is listed below, then the 81-156 is our best match. Note that we also carry a stainless steel version if that interests you: see our 81-156SS. Let me know what you think.

Thank you! Yes, this is the one I had just ordered, so I'm glad I got the right one. I'll try replacing it today. I assume I can just use a long screwdriver to make up for the lack of distance with the extension screw. Thanks for your help, and I'll let you know if I have any more questions. Much appreciated!

Great! We appreciate the business, thank you. And yes, a long screwdriver should make up for the shorter adjustment screw no problem.
