Sash balancer replacement

Quick Learner
The actual metal part is 24" long by 9/16" (1/2") wide. It has a stamp 23D on the face. I need 2 for my non tilt sash Milgard window. Could you please let me know what replacement sash I need to purchase? Thank you.

Thanks for your photos. Based on what I see here, you have either our S380-24 or S385-24, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. That's the only difference between them. I recommend measuring your shoe and referring to our dimensions to confirm the best match.

The metal part measures 23", I was told to look at S380-24 or S385-24. If the metal part is only 23", would I not need a S380-23 or S385-23 instead of a 24". I am just making sure that it is correct.

I'm a little confused. You said in your first post that the metal channel is 24" long. You even copied and pasted that same text. Besides that, if the stamp is 23D, then the metal channel should be 24". 23" would actually be fairly strange, given the stamp. You should triple check that just to be sure.
