Screen for for a sliding glass door

A quick learner from Cheektowaga says:
It does not latch anymore, I took it apart and put it back together and it still does not latch, all parts look good but it is 20 yes old,is it gravity latched?

This latch is not dependent on gravity, no. There's actually a small device inside the door itself that contains a spring. In my experience, this spring is one of the first things to fail on this door, leading to a latch that doesn't do its job.

The bad news is that we aren't able to supply that spring, and to be perfectly honest I'm not sure if it's repairable. My recommendation is to contact Pella directly to see if that device is something that they can supply to you directly.
