Screen porch advice

A quick learner from Appleton, Maine says:
We just redid our screen porch and ordered custom screen panels that we intend to remove each winter. The porch was trimmed in Azek. The 5/16" screen frames will be fit into approximately 3/4" recessed openings. We would like to be able to remove the screens each winter without unscrewing any hardware. We had envisioned a flush mount with a simple turn clip fastener, but unfortunately, the porch wasn't framed that way. We are not interested in customizing the screens any more at this point with a knife latch or spring clip, or building out the framed openings with more material, as both options would be expensive, labor wise. Do you have any suggestions for some type of fastener we could use?

We actually made screens for porch enclosures, once upon a time. For off set installations like what you describe, I would probably use something like our 70-098S, along with the 62-022 threaded riv-nut and 70-112 thumb screw. You could also consider our 70-145 angle clip with the 33-089 screw. I believe this is the best way to secure the screens in the frame. However, you don't want to remove clips in the winter when you store the screens. We do have a adjustable screen clip, our 70-215. This could be what you are looking for. Take a look at this hardware and their related videos and see what you think!
