It looks like your top sash guide broke, allowing your balance to shoot up to the top of the track. Truth be told, your balance is probably still in working condition and you can continue using it. You will, however, need a new top sash guide.

I recommend looking at our complete selection here. You need to remove an undamaged version in order to find a match. The video below will also be of help, I'm sure.
