Searching for doublblehung window

My Double hung window lower panel will not stay in one position it, drops down. looking for a safety clip to hold it in place

If your window won't stay open, then it sounds like an issue with the balance. That will need to be replaced in order to get it working again.

Can you show me photos of the balances? These are spring mechanisms on either side of the sash, usually installed in the track. I'll definitely need more photos after that but I need to see what type you have first so that I know what to look for.
