Searching for truth 021698

A quick learner says:
Hi, I need to replace a window crank made Truth and I believe the model number is either 021698 or 40448. I will submit pictures. The measurements seem consistent with the models I found on here, but are missing one of the pieces this mechanism has. It has two metal bars come from the gears rather than one. 5 3/16" external casing, 4 15/16" internal casing length.
Thanks,
Erin

Hi Erin. This looks like our 39-253LB, which uses the 39-529 Track Slider. For a new cover and handle, see our 39-375 or 39-451, depending on the style you prefer.

A quick learner says:
The part that is broken is actually the gear part. They've lost some of their thickness and no longer catch when turning the crank to pull the window in. I have a crank handle, but need new gear parts that move the window. I'm not sure which of those to select. Thank you for your help!!

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Hey Erin. If the gears that interact with the handle have broken down or are stripped, then I am afraid the entire operator has to be replaced. The 39-253LB should be the correct choice, just look over the dimensions to confirm. You'll need a new cover & handle for this replacement mechanism, so see our 39-375 or 39-451, depending on the style you prefer. If your old Track Slider is undamaged you could reuse it; but otherwise, see our 39-529
