Question

Single hung no tilt SeasonShield window.

The yard guys mower threw a rock.

Can someone please give me some guidance on removing the broken glass from the fixed sash? Ive already removed the 4 metal pieces from around the window on the outside.

If I have to replace the whole window, is this 1 double window unit or is it 2 separate windows? It doesnt really look as if either side will separate from the piece between the 2 windows.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello! We unfortunately don't sell replacement windows or panes, but you definitely don't need a new window altogether. A local glass shop should be able to cut you a new pane to fit the window.

As for how to remove the glass, the guide below should walk you through how it works for most types of windows. However you may just want to take the sash in to the glass shop and have them do it. This guide is mostly geared towards professionals on the job.
