Series 850 28.5" crossbow balance

I have a 28.5" crossbow balance I"m needing to replace. I ordered one from you years ago and the shoe size did not fit and also noticed everything about it was bigger including the spring diameter. Attached is a picture of the one I ordered next to the one I need to replace.

On the one I'm looking to replace the red shoe is 15/16" wide and 3/8" deep.

Sure, we can replace this balance. This is a certain type that will have to be specially made, though. I'll email you a special order link right now for 2. If you need more, please let me know right here in this thread and I'll be happy to change it.

The 2 I ordered arrived today. They are a perfect fit. Can I place an order for another 10 please? I also need the 28.5" crossbow balance. Please send me an order form. I will be ordering several. I like to have them on had in case one goes bad. The shoe is white

I'm afraid we don't have a 28.5 Series 850 anymore, however. The manufacturer is phasing this style out and soon enough we won't have any Series 850 balances at all.

Fortunately, you can us our S795-28 as a substitute. There are just a couple things you have to keep in mind. First, you need to weigh your sash to confirm you get the right stamp option. Next, you need to measure your shoe to confirm it's 1-1/4". If it's 1" instead, you'll have to order our 15-194 separately. These just pop on and off, so when you get them you'll simply swap the shoes out. Finally, you'll need a new pivot bar. I recommend our 26-021.

The new balances arrived and worked great.

I found that I don't need the 15-194 shoes. I have sent in a return order for those items.
