Thanks for posting. The part you are showing is called a spiral balance. These are spring-loaded mechanisms that allow you to open and close the window at will. We can help you replace yours, but we'll need to see them out of the window. Specifically, we'll need to know the diameter of the outer tube as well as the length of this tube, up to and not including the colored tip. We will also need to see a picture of the tip itself.
