Thanks for writing in. I am confident we can help, but Simonton uses a few different balance systems. Can you remove the entire assembly and show us the pivot shoe? The identity of the pivot shoe tells us the coil balances you need. Can you also tell me the thickness of the coil springs? From there we'll do our best to assist you.

Thanks! Bob's not here today, but I can help. This pivot shoe looks like a match for our 15-111, which means you could use either our 3/8" thick Series 160 or 1/2" thick Series 165. You'll have to measure how thick your old spring is to determine the better match.

The thickness of the spring is included in the picture of the caliper dial.if the question is of the width of the spring it is 1/2". Please let me know what part number is & how many I need to fix this window. Thank you for your help.

That picture is showing me what I would call the gauge of the spring. I guess what I call thickness is what you're calling width, so it sounds like you want the 1/2" Series 165.
