Single hung balancer

Need single hung balancer for house built in 2003.    Plastic inner tube with block and tackle upper section.  Entire device rides in vinyl slot on side of frame.

This is an old rod-type balance that hasn't been made in a long time now. The good news is that you can use one of our modern channel balances to replace it.

Before you go any further, first measure the diameter of the spring to confirm that its 1/2". If so then you can use our Series 795 as a substitute. The video below will walk you through how you can adapt the new style balance to work in your older window step by step.
