Sliding door handle replacement

A quick learner from Lafayette, IN says:
I think my door is an Anderson silver line 5800. The outside handle broke off. So I need to replace the whole handle unit. It also has a lock on it.

We don't have this exact handle set, but I think we can still help. Start by looking at our 82-073 (1-3/8" thick doors) or 82-074 (1-5/8" thick doors). These both have an installation hole spacing of 3-15/16". The back plate for either is likely not as long as yours, but I'm not sure if it matters to you. That particular detail isn't essential for it to function, it's just a matter of aesthetic preference. The internal mortise lock also looks like our 82-265. Look this hardware over and let me know your thoughts.
A quick learner from Lafayette Indiana says:
Thank you so much! Do you think I should order the internal lock also? Only the outside handle broke off so I didn't know if I needed to replace the internal lock also or just replace the handle.

My pleasure! As long as the inside lock is functioning, you should be able to reuse it.
