Sliding door replacement handle

A home owner from Oswego, IL says:
We can find no numbers or markings on the door or handle parts. The handle broke off (screws broke) and we re-attached with long screws. Now the latch is malfunctioning/slipping when we try to lock or unlock to open the door. We believe that the handle is slipping and causes the lock mechanism to not fully engage. Can you recommend a replacement handle? The holes measure 6 5/8 inch on center. We've looked and believe that your Sliding Door Handle Set, 6-9/16" 82-078 is an appropriate replacement.

I agree, our 82-078 appears to be the best match. Just confirm the hole spacing to make sure it isn't 6-9/16" instead of 6-5/8". You may also want to remove it from the door to confirm that the locking mechanism is the same.
