I can't say for sure, as I've never tried it. They are specifically made for cabinet doors, so the success of using it for anything outside that application is uncertain. It would depend heavily on the drawer and how you would install it.

We used them in our closet system drawers, mounted on the inside of the frame, on either side of the drawer, and they work well. But, it does depend on your drawers.
