Spiral Balance Help

This is called a spiral balance. It helps regulate the opening and closing of the window. I'm quite confident we can replace this, but we need the length of the outer tube, up to and not including the bearing where the spiral comes out. We'll also need the color of this bearing. We also need the tube diameter. Now, older versions of these spiral balances such as yours had plastic tubes that are flimsy and could crumble away, as yours has. Do your very best to measure this diameter anyway: it should be either 3/8" or 5/8". See the video below for more details on ID'ing spiral balances.
