Spiral balances for vynil tilt windows

A quick learner says:
My house has replacement windows (double hung) that were installed about 24 years ago. The sashes don't operate well. I probably need to replace the spiral balances for these various size tilt windows. The labels and markings show: Reynolds, Knoxville service center, mechanic/sonja, v0102

Thanks for posting. We can certainly help you replace this spiral balance, but we'll need more information to be able to help. You'll need to remove the spiral balance from the window and tell us the length and diameter of the outer tube, not including the colored tip. From there, we should be able to narrow down what you need. For removal and replacement details, see the video below.
