How do I get my Mirror Door Back on Track?

A home owner from St. Louis, Mo. Crestwood says:

We have had these doors in bedroom for 24 years. Recently developed a stress crack in upper left corner of panel. began to take the panel out of the track to take to mirror plce to replace it. HAD TREMENDOUSLY DIFFICULT TIME to remove the panel from the track. Took a very long time. The crack spread quite a bit. Am very worried when it comes time to put panel back in with new mirror. There was a Stanley sticker on back of panel. It had 2 numbers on it: 50730981 and 64564-001. Can you give us advice on putting door back into track . Thanks. Bill

Dimensions

Each panel. 32 x 77.

Thanks.

Paul from SWISCO responded:

Many thanks for writing in to us. We believe your sliding door has anti-jump feature on the bottom of the door wheels that keep the doors from coming out. To release the anti-jump guide, use a flat putty knife and slide it across the track against the guide as someone lifts the door. Repeat the same procedure on the other guide, then both of you can swing the door out and unhook the top from the track. See the video below for help.
