Storm door won't close

Hello,

I'm not sure what needs to be adjusted here, but my back screen door will not shut all the way. I have tried to adjust the pressure, but I just can't seem to get it right. When the door does close and is latched, you can shake the door forward and back, as if the door is not resting properly. Do I need to adjust how I have mounted the door closer, for example?

Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like you have too much play in the keeper. Try adjusting the location of the keeper. You do want some play in the door when latched, but maybe you have too much. Look at the videos on storm doors I've associated to this page, too. They may be helpful.
