I am looking for the keeper for the latch in the sliding screen door. The keeper is screwed into the door jam with 2 screws. It is approximately 3/4" in height and 1/2" wide. It appears to be made of die cast aluminum and an L shaped finger approximately 1/4" wide projects out from it.

this is on a Super Seal sliding glass/screen door series 800SGD made in 2001

Can I see a few pictures of the keeper in question? That will help us find a good replacement.

I am sorry Tom, the L shaped finger protrusion broke off and I am afraid the keeper was thrown out.

Ah, I see. That will make things a little harder. Could it be something like our 83-034? Look this over and see what you think.

If not, please show us the spot where the keeper installed and the lock that would engage it. Please also tell me the hole spacing, measured from the center of each hole. Thanks!
